My four month ald baby has red spots under his eyes?

We have been to the doctor, a few times. He had a rush on his body, they said it is an excema. The rush is gone now after I started to use the cream that doctor prescribed but red spots under his eyes are still there and they look awful. He also still has a dry patches on his face and constantly itching at night. Could this red spots be an excema or could it be something else?…

Ok its not an excema, it’s excema and you should put the same cream on that rash and those dry patches too.

Try normal, unscented aqeous cream on the dry spots as well as the red patches, or if you have the money, ask your pharmasist for LBR Lipo cream…It did the trick for our daughter.

Does your baby cry alot? Has he had a bout of violent vomiting? These two can break blood vessels that are closer to the skin near the eyes and cause pin-prick red dots that are not painful, just scary-looking.
Sometimes, my son gets a bad case of eczema and the only thing that helps is 1% hydrocortizone creme. Use it sparingly, as it can cause skin problems in high amount or for long periods of use. I would call the doctor and ask if this is acceptable, with your sons condition and location of the spots around the eyes. If you are in the UK, I recommend E45 Anti-Itch creme (about £6 per tube). Check with the pharmacist as to whether he is old enough for use. Be careful of eyes and mouth and of baby putting fingers in eyes or mouth after application. Aqueous creme is a good for maintenance, but some children have reactions to it. Other cremes in the aqaueous vein may be better tolerated. It depends on the child.
Keep him cool, dry and bath only 2-3 times a week while flaring (bad times). My son is 4 and has almost out-grown his eczema. I hope your’s does the same. It can be very frustrating for both of you.
Wishing you both a speedy recovery!
